Double Edge Films was founded in 1998 in Denver, Colorado by Jamin Winans. A recent film school dropout, Jamin returned to Denver from LA to pursue his love of filmmaking that he acquired at the age of 10. Gathering up friends, family and anyone who could hold a piece of string and cardboard and pull at just the right moment, Jamin began making short films. Eventually the string-and-cardboard box-trick made its way into features and commercials.
Along the way Jamin’s wife, Kiowa joined him as a producer, helping him to take his films to a new level and slowly working him off his string and cardboard habits. Together they do their best to make the world a better place, if only for a few minutes.
